Some information I would like to see here is the Debian version you are running and the kernel version. It seems the disable csum option is not present in the e that comes with the stable debian release?

But I don't understand why. Is there somewhere on vmware where I can understand what happend? Even if that is the final solution I would like to get it documented here so others can follow and see that we did demonstrate the need for it.
